BalkanScale (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

What we collect

• Contact and booking forms: name, work email, company name, role, company size, and the details of your inquiry — provided voluntarily by you.
• Basic measurement (no consent required): our hosting provider, Vercel, records aggregate page views, referring sites, and page load performance. This sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device.
• Google Analytics (consent required): if you accept the cookie banner, Google Analytics 4 additionally collects pages viewed, how you reached the site, approximate location, and device and browser type. IP addresses are anonymised. Nothing is collected by Google if you decline.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry and prepare for any consultation you request.
• To schedule and confirm consultations, including sending calendar invitations.
• To improve the website, in aggregate and anonymized form only.

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the providers needed to run this business: the services that process form submissions and email on our behalf, Vercel as our hosting provider, and — where you have consented — Google, as described in our Cookie Policy. Sharing is limited to what those services require in order to function.

Legal basis and retention

We process inquiry data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries. We retain inquiry data for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, after which it is deleted.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to contact@balkanscale.com. We respond to all such requests promptly.
